L’Occitane Hires New Managing Director

Petrakis brings over 15 years of expertise to role.

L’Occitane has tapped Leela Petrakis as the new managing director for its U.S. branch. She brings with her a wealth of beauty experience from over 15 years in the industry, at companies such as Johnson & Johnson/Neutrogena, Clairol, Avon, Revlon and L’Oreal – holding positions of increasing responsibility in marketing and general management for the U.S. and global markets. Her experience ranges from skin care, cosmetics, hair care and body care to men’s grooming. Petrakis also serves on the board of directors for the Cosmetics Executive Women (CEW).

The company has 170 boutiques in the U.S. as well as representation in Nordstrom, Sephora and through its own website and over 1,200 boutiques around the world.
